Today at 1-00pm, Friday 28 June 2013, the Shoreham Aircraft Museum, Kent, helped to unveil a new memorial to an Airman of WW2 killed in action. The aim of their project is to privately raise funds to commemorate men killed within a 10 miles radius of Shoreham. This is the 7th memorial to be dedicated since the project started in 2006.

Spidge has posted details of this man on one of his threads and here is a link with more details. Thanks to him for the photos supplied – http://ww2talk.com/forums/topic/18267-in-memoriam-those-air-force-pilotscrews-who-died-on-this-day-in-ww2/page-10#entry403368
