I saw this in my local Cemetery, which because of the wording attracted my attention. 3 brothers interred elsewhere got my little nose twitching.
At first they reminded me of the escape tunnel names from The Great Escape.
But then I got my head down and started looking into them. The problem is that the names were probably ‘family’ names ie they called him John, but his name was Jack, same with Harry and Henry/Herbert.
Their parents names were John Abraham Ives and Rose Ives (nee Hipkin? Not 100% sure on that)
I have found George’s CWGC record, certainly,
IVES, GEORGE

but I cannot 100% pin down either record for the other two brothers, whatever their first names may be.
Hopefully someone with access to Ancestry.com may be able to help, and whatever help can be offered will be appreciated greatly.
Thanks in anticipation
Tony
