I’m looking for any surviving film footage or photographs from 1944 of 150 Wing when they were based at Newchurch in Kent, or when the wing later became 122 Wing and moved abroad to Europe. It’s mainly 3(f) Squadron I’m looking for. I’m aware during this time many famous people visited Newchurch , such as Winston Churchill, Ernest Hemingway, J B Priestly, to name a few, and was wondering if photographs or film still existed of these days or the pilots. I do have copies of the Imperial War Museums Photographs but still believe there must be something else out there.
