I am trying to piece together my grandfather’s WW2 service record (I have posted on here in the past). His name was Henry Victor George Featherstone and he was a driver in the RASC. I have letters addressed to him by various people and they were sent to 93rd Company RASC, Airborne Division Company. I have previously posted the brief details I have about his service and also a transcript of a document I have about a test flight he took part in on an Albermarle aircraft prior to Arnhem.
Unfortunatley I haven’t been able to get any further so I am wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of some further help? Should I contact the Para Data (Airborne Assault) curator at Duxford? I’m not very good at the whole military history thing and could do with a bit of help.
