Good morning everyone!

I orignally joined this forum over 2 years ago but through a very hectic work life and being out the country for a few months I never really got ‘stuck in’.

However now things are more stable with work and I am now hoping this forum will become a very useful source of not only general WW2 information but also for something much more specific.

I’ll be making a few other posts relating to the above elsewhere on the forum so won’t clog up the Introudtion Thread.

Also I am extremely passionate about all things U.S. during WW2 (I also married an American so…) especially the Airborne Forces and am lucky enough to live near to where both the 17th Abn and 101st were billeted prior to their Jumps in Europe and I am orignally from the Midlands within
spitting distance of where elements of the 82nd Abn were billeted, oh and I also watched Band of Brothers and rather liked it!;)
