The Heritage Group
The Heritage Group was formed by a number of individuals involved in Heritage Preservation
The HG exists to honour and remember the soldiers of all nations who served; to preserve military vehicles and militaria; and to eduucate of the futility of conflict
The HG does not glorify war, or concern itself with the propoganda, politics or politicans but with the humanity and the individuals that served and who in many cases sacrificed all.
The HG is concerned that the lessons and sacrifices of war, and in particular World War II are not being conveyed to our youth.
The HG provides a meeting place for collectors and researchers, and provides services such as consultancy, research and equipment for film, photographic and documentary work.
A re-enactment component portrays South African, Italian, German, American and British units.
